After a successful return in 2009, the popular Steam Train Sunday, presented by The Workshops Rail Museum will steam towards Spicers Hidden Vale in 2010, beginning Sunday 7 March. Departing from Roma Street Station in Brisbane, a magnificently restored steam engine and heritage carriages will carry passengers for a one-hour trip through Brisbane’s suburbs, passing through city stations and river crossings.
Steam Train Sunday runs once a month from March to December 2010 with trips at 10:10am, 11:40am and 1:10pm. Prices for Steam Train Sunday trips start from $18.50 for adults, $10.00 for children under 15 years and $55.00 for a family of two adults and two children.
