An exclusive Spicers city retreat, the Spicers Balfour Hotel, is opening in early 2010 in New Farm, Brisbane, and under refurbishment in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland is the award-winning Spicers Tamarind, also opening in early 2010. Spicers Retreats, Hotels and Lodges has further properties under development with a vision to expand globally.
Spicers Retreats, Hotels and Lodges also owns (in partnership) Hidden Peaks Walks, Australia’s newest guided walks company. Hidden Peaks offers a world-class outdoor adventure experience where guests can connect with the natural wonders of South East Queensland whilst indulging in award-winning lodge accommodation, well-appointed camping, fine food and wine. Its first offering – Spicers Private Walk – stepped out in May 2009.
